Pan-european conference on the potential long-term ecological impact of genetically modified organisms - Strasbourg, 24-26 novembre 1993

Livre

Edité par CONSEIL DE L'EUROPE. STRASBOURG - 1995

This Pan-european conference was organised in the light of the ever-increasing interest in the subject of genetically modified organisms - such as insect - and virus-resistant plants and vaccines - and long-term ecological impacts. It's main purposes were to stimulate dialogue between molecular biologists and ecologists and draw the attention of those in positions of responsability to the potential long-term ecological effects. Numerous examples of genetically modified organisms are given in these proceedings.
