The overall goal of the action plan is "to maintain and restore, in coexistence with people, viable populations of Eurasian Lynx as an integral part of ecosystems and landscapes across Europe. The objectives of the Action Plan address policy and legislation ; species conservation and habitat protection ; conflicts with humans ; socio-economic incentives ; public awareness and monitoring and research.
